Overview

This course will provide you with a fundamental grasp of how to launch organic waste management as well as how to succeed as an entrepreneur in this sector.

Organic wastes are materials that are produced by living organisms, such as plants, animals, and bacteria, and which can break down into more fundamental organic components. Organic wastes produced by various natural processes can be either solid or liquid in composition.

Solid organic waste has a moisture content of between 80 and 85 percent and is classified as organic-biodegradable rubbish. The three main sources of organic waste are industrial products, domestic tasks, and agriculture. Examples of biodegradable or organic wastes include food scraps, food-soiled paper, non-hazardous wood scraps, landscaping detritus, and pruning debris.

Even while the majority of organic wastes in the soil provide nutrients and minerals that support soil fertility and plant growth, improper disposal techniques can have a significant negative impact on the ecosystem.
