ATAL TINKERING LAB A GOVERNMENT PROJECT
Atal Innovation Mission is establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATLs) in schools and colleges across India. It is a project-based learning programmed for school colleges. Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog is Government of India’s flagship initiative to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country and was setup in 2016. In the first phase, 45 will be adopted by Atal Tinkering Labs and then another 55 will be adopted by ISRO.
The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing, communication skill etc. ATL is a workspace where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do it by yourself. It is also a programmed which gives a wing to the young children and get a chance to work with tools and equipment. The ATL works on the concept of STEM which means science, technology, engineering and math. For making it more interesting for the students they can also conduct a different activity related to education and curricular activities like regional, state and national level competitions, exhibitions, workshops, quiz, designing and many more.
What is the main objective of ATL?
The primary goal of ATLs is to nurture a generation of young innovators who can contribute towards solving real-life problems. Some key objectives of these labs include:
*Encouraging curiosity and hands-on learning.
*Promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
*Fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation.
*Bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
*Creating a supportive ecosystem for students to experiment and learn from failure.
Like ATL, HUNAR INDIA also runs a project-based program in which many facilities are available for the student of schools and colleges. It has proved to be a game-changer in the field of education. It not only enhances students critical thinking and problem-solving abilities but also fosters their creativity and innovation. Moreover, it enables students to develop essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, and time management. Keeping these things in mind, HUNAR INDIA presents a platform that students studying in school and colleges were able to enhance their skills even better.
Hunar India provides some more facilities in PBL: -
*Recorded lectures
*Study material-PDF
*Week-up to a semester
*Mentorship
*Assessment followed by certificate after completion of 50%
*Prototype Project view of minimum duration
*Submission of Project
*Industrial certificate after successful completion of project work.
