CRP RRBs ‘XII’ NOTIFICATION 2023 OUT, 8612+ VACANCIES

The online examinations for the next Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs XII) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”- Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in August and September 2023. The interviews for recruitment of Group “A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) under the same process will be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority tentatively in the month of November 2023.

IBPS RRB stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Regional Rural Bank Exam. It is a national-level banking exam that is conducted every year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for candidates who aspire to join the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Recruitment is carried out for the following Group A and B job posts:

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2023

IBPS conducts a two-stage written test for Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant posts while for Officer Scale-II and III, there is only one written test.
Candidates applying for Officer level posts have to appear for an interview round before the final selection. There is no interview for Office assistants.
The exams are online-based having multiple-choice questions.
There is a negative marking of one-fourth marks for each wrong answer.

IBPS RRB Syllabus 2023

Applicants must be aware of the IBPS RRB Exam Syllabus to prepare for the critical topics on the exam. The following is the syllabus for IBPS RRB 2023:

Quantitative Aptitude: Mensuration, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Permutation & Combination, Simple Interest, Probability, and so on.
General Knowledge: Agriculture, Current Affairs, Awards & Honors, Indian Economic, International Economic, Budget, Sports, Shares, Finance, etc.
Reasoning: blood relations, coding-decoding, direction sense, figure series, puzzles, syllogism, sitting arrangement, and so on are examples of reasoning sections.
English Language: Comprehensions, Cloze Test, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms and Phrases, Synonyms and Antonyms, and so on.
Computer Science: Computer History, MS Office, Number System, Operating Systems, Software, and Hardware, and so on.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2023

Applicants must satisfy the necessary conditions of eligibility to appear for the IBPS RRB exam. The eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB exams are mentioned below-

IBPS RRB Nationality

The aspirants of IBPS RRB should be either of the following:

A citizen of India
A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling
A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

IBPS Age Criteria

The age criteria differ from post to post as given in the table:

IBPS RRB Educational Qualification

The educational qualification for IBPS RRB exam varies as per the post.

Assistant Manager (Scale-I)	Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any of the discipline's agriculture, horticulture, information technology, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, management, Pisciculture, law, economics or accountancy, agricultural marketing, and cooperation, from a recognized university. The working knowledge of computers will also be appreciated.
